Rehearsal 3: A Wrap

Rehearsal 3: A Wrap

Category: News, Pictures,

With a singing of voices and instruments, the 3rd rehearsal for the October 12 performance of "The Power and Glory of God" came to an end. This rehearsal marked the first time all the musicians rehearsed together, and the results were spectacular. The choir first rehearsed "The Majesty and Glory of Your Name" with just piano. Then, it was on stage with the orchestra. Next up, Evan Chesney ran the Hallelujah Chorus with the choir and orchestra. The choir then took a break and the strings and organ practiced the Adagio. After that, the strings and woodwinds were dismissed and the brass took over. Mark Becker used the remaining time to practice Rutter's Gloria.

October 11 is the final rehearsal, and thus far everything is looking to be on track for an amazing performance. Pictures and audio below from the October 5 rehearsal at Forest Lake Church.
